Byway Contest Winners! The Lewis & Clark Scenic Byway recently sponsored a "Why My Town Is Special" contest. Three North Bend Elementary School students were chosen as the winners. Jacki Minarick, Jack Post, Jake Wietfeld and their teacher, Bev Grueber, attended the March 22nd Byway monthly meeting. Donna Goodier (pictured on right) presented an award certificate and $50.00 prize money to each student.  Conversations with the fourth graders revealed the park, swimming pool and ballfield are popular North Bend attractions. The students had lunch in Fremont after the meeting. Congratulations to these winners! Click here to read the winning essays.
