Uehling, founded in 1906, is a quiet, friendly farming community. We’re not the biggest, but one of the best!
The town is located on Highway 77 just 21 miles north of Fremont and is approximately 55 miles from either Omaha, NE or Sioux City, IA.

City Park: 2 ball fields, trap shooting range, horseshoe court, basketball hoops, camper parking permitted, two picnic shelters.
Uehling Auditorium host civic events and is available for local children to play basketball.
The historic Uehling Round Barn is on the National Register of Historical Monuments and is located on the Northeast edge of town, on Highway 77, about 10 miles east of Highway 75 from Uehling. It was built of hand cut lumber from local trees in 1918 by Frank Theodore Uehling, the son of German immigrants who founded the town. The barn is octagonal in shape, measuring 30 feet on each side. Its "diameter" from side to side measures 80 feet. Very few round barns still exist.
